Hi, I’m Michelle, the person behind Homebody Pet Boarding.

I started Homebody because I love having a dog around—the walks, the routines, the companionship, and especially the moment when a dog decides they feel safe enough to curl up beside me and fall asleep.

I also know that leaving your dog while you travel can be stressful. You want to know they’re comfortable, getting affection, keeping their normal routine, and being cared for by someone who genuinely enjoys having them there.

That’s what Homebody is designed to provide.

One Guest at a Time

Unlike traditional boarding or busy daycare-style environments, I host just one dog at a time.* Your dog gets a quiet home environment and individual attention without having to navigate a rotating group of unfamiliar dogs.

I work from home, so my guests get plenty of company throughout the day. I follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking, and sleeping routines as closely as possible, with lots of downtime, affection and neighborhood walks in between.

You Should Enjoy Your Vacation, Too

You’ll receive regular photos and updates so you never have to wonder how things are going. I want you to be able to look at your phone, see your dog happily snoozing on the couch, and get back to enjoying your trip.

Before a first stay, we’ll have a meet-and-greet to make sure Homebody is a comfortable fit for everyone and to talk through your dog’s personality, routines, and needs.

My goal is simple: you get peace of mind, and your dog gets a home away from home.
